Union has launched its testnet, marking a significant milestone in its development. The testnet provides developers and users with the opportunity to explore Union’s features, including its subsecond messaging protocol for application-specific intents and transfers, and its support for EVMs, SVMs, and altVMs by integrating with all execution environments. This launch paves the way for the upcoming mainnet release and broader ecosystem adoption.
Union has raised $16M in total across Seed and Series A rounds, with the most recent round closing in December 2024. The round was led by Gumi Cryptos Capital and Longhash Ventures, with participation from founders of Polygon, Celestia, Avail, and Berachain, among others.
