Union has launched its testnet, marking a significant milestone in its development. The testnet provides developers and users with the opportunity to explore Union’s features, including its subsecond messaging protocol for application-specific intents and transfers, and its support for EVMs, SVMs, and altVMs by integrating with all execution environments. This launch paves the way for the upcoming mainnet release and broader ecosystem adoption.

Union has raised $16M in total across Seed and Series A rounds, with the most recent round closing in December 2024. The Series A was led by Gumi Cryptos Capital and Longhash Ventures, with participation from founders of Polygon, Celestia, Avail, and Berachain, among others.

On-Chain Insights

Recently LayerHub listed Union, so you can access advanced analytics and statistics of the Union Testnet. LayerHub provides detailed metrics on transactions, user activity and other important indicators, which makes the platform transparent and understandable for ecosystem members.

Union Metrics and User Engagement

Thanks to LayerHub’s integration, users can seamlessly monitor crucial Union metrics, analyze trends, and evaluate their engagement levels in various ecosystem activities. Let’s explore the metrics.

Transfers by Chain

Most users interact with connected networks such as Ethereum Sepolia and Xion Testnet.

Transfers

The number of transfers per day is holding steady at 1M, peaking at 2.3M transfers per day.

If we pay attention to wallet statistics, 63% of users made less than 10 transfers, and 24% made more than 100 transfers.

Activity

On average, the number of active wallets per day is about 30k, peaking at 68k.

Most of the wallets have low activity, with total wallets active for more than 5 days at 24%.

On average, about 12k wallets appear in Union every day. In just 2 weeks, as many as 133,055 users were active in Union Testnet.

Let’s get started

Conclusion

Participating in the Union testnet is a valuable opportunity to explore a next-generation zero-knowledge infrastructure designed for fast, secure, and interoperable onchain activity. By interacting with testnet applications, experimenting with smart contracts, and engaging across different execution environments, you’re helping to stress-test and shape the future of Union’s network.

Use LayerHub to monitor real-time onchain activity, analyze your wallet’s performance with Wallet Checker. Whether you’re a developer, user, or onchain explorer, Union provides a powerful platform to build and experiment with the infrastructure of tomorrow.
