AppLayer is an innovative modular blockchain protocol designed to enhance scalability, security, and interoperability for decentralized applications. By leveraging cutting-edge Layer 2 solutions, AppLayer provides a seamless experience for developers and users alike, ensuring efficient transaction processing with minimal fees.

The project recently launched its testnet, allowing users to explore its capabilities and optimize their participation within the ecosystem.

With its integration into LayerHub, users can now access in-depth analytics and key statistics related to AppLayer’s ecosystem, enhancing transparency and user engagement.

Available Metrics on LayerHub

Thanks to LayerHub’s integration, users can seamlessly monitor crucial Monad metrics, analyze trends, and evaluate their engagement levels in various ecosystem activities. The following metrics are now accessible:

  • Daily Transaction Count.
  • Wallets by Number of Transactions.
  • Wallets by Number of Interacted Contracts.
  • Wallets by Number of Created Contracts.
  • Daily Active Wallets.
  • Wallets by Active Days.
  • New Wallets on AppLayer.
  • Daily Contracts Created.
  • Wallets by APPL Balance.

These insights provide AppLayer participants with a better understanding of network dynamics and user activity trends.

Wallet Checker

The Wallet Checker tool enables users to analyze their wallet interactions within the AppLayer ecosystem. With this tool, participants can:

  • Check their wallet ranking among all network participants.
  • Review transaction count and contract interactions.
  • Track active days within the network.
  • Analyze their total balance of AppLayer tokens.

This tool is essential for users aiming to optimize their engagement and participation in the AppLayer ecosystem.

How to Reach the Top 10% of Users

LayerHub analytics help identify the key factors for ranking in the top 10% of AppLayer users. Based on current trends, achieving this status requires:

Total number of transactions and wallets by number of transactions
Adobe Express - file (3).png

The total number of transactions to date is 15M, which is quite a lot in such a short period of time.

More than 69% of wallets have made less than 5 transactions, so to get into the top 10% you need to make at least 30 transactions.

Wallets by Active Days and New Wallets on AppLayer

The data from this section of metrics is actually incredibly low, for example the total number of wallets in AppLayer is only 5,872.

The maximum number of new wallets per day was only 118, and the average number of active wallets per day is around 10 and showing a declining trend.

More than 91% of wallets were active only one day, so to get into the top 10% it will be enough to be active for 2 days.

Wallets by Number of Interacted and Created Contracts
Adobe Express - file (5).png

The total number of contracts created is only 465 and only 1% of wallets created contracts, from which 49% created only 1.

Only 29% of wallets interacted with contracts, from which 26% interacted with less than 10 contracts.

Total that to get to the top of the above categories you need to create at least 3 contracts and interact with more than 20 contracts. To be in the top 10% among the total number of wallets in AppLayer it will be enough to create 1 contract and interact with more than 5 contracts.

Conclusion

To be among the top 10% of AppLayer users, you should:

  • Completing at least 30 transactions.
  • Interacting with at least 20 different smart contracts.
  • Create at least 3 contracts.
  • Holding a balance of at least 5 APPL.
  • Maintaining activity for at least 2 days.
